Beta Terms
Effective October 20, 2026
Thanks for helping us build Sonny. These Beta Terms are part of our Terms of Service (https://meetsonny.com/terms) and apply while you're in the Sonny beta. If they conflict with the Terms about the beta, these Beta Terms control.
Sonny is operated by Christian Daugherty ("Sonny," "we," "us").
1. What the beta is
The Sonny beta is a private, invitation-only, early beta for real estate agents. Access is personal to you, and you may not share it.
2. It's free
The beta is free. During the beta, we cover the AI and API costs of running Sonny for you. If Sonny later offers paid plans, we'll tell you in advance, and nothing will be charged unless you choose a plan.
3. Pre-release software
Sonny is pre-release software. That means:
- Bugs and downtime may happen. Sonny may sometimes be slow, unavailable or wrong.
- There's no service-level agreement (SLA). We'll do our best to fix problems quickly, but we can't guarantee availability or response times.
- Features may change. We may add, change or remove features, sometimes without notice.
- Check before you rely on it. Review what Sonny prepares before you rely on it, especially anything that goes to a client. Keep your own records of important information. Sonny backs up its data nightly, but no backup is guaranteed.
4. Confidentiality
We may share things with you that aren't public yet:
- unreleased features and screens
- plans and pricing
- how Sonny works
Please keep these to yourself, and don't post screenshots or recordings of unreleased features without our OK. You're welcome to tell people you use Sonny.
This doesn't cover information that:
- is already public, through no fault of yours
- you already knew
- you got from someone else who was free to share it
- you're required by law to disclose
We'll keep your information confidential as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. No redistribution or reverse engineering
You may not:
- copy, share, resell or redistribute Sonny, or your access to it
- reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract Sonny's source code, prompts or models, except where the law allows it despite this restriction
6. Feedback
Your feedback is what the beta is for. We may use any feedback, ideas or suggestions you give us to improve Sonny, without owing you anything. We won't publicly name you as the source of feedback without your permission.
7. Ending beta access
Either of us can end your beta access at any time. You can just stop using Sonny. We may end access too, for example:
- when the beta ends
- if we need to limit the number of testers
- if these Terms aren't followed
Where we reasonably can, we'll give you notice first and help you keep your data. What happens to your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
